Thanks!

Thanks to all you who commented on my earlier post about being published in Sew Somerset magazine.

Now, I'm going to be rich and famous!!!

Perhaps a book deal will come my way!!!

Thanks Lynn for the suggestion that I submit my work. I think it only took about a year to act on your advice.

And thank you, college fellows, for cleaning up that garbage. I guess taking photos of someone's mess in front of them gets results. Garbage karma is working for me. Now that Garbage Karma Lady is on my front porch, I have a more positive outlook on life. I'm going to give her a small offering and see if I can come across some free porch furniture.

Its worth a try .... porch furniture might be a small offering away.
I'm laughing about the camera getting results. We were on the highway behind a huge pantecnican truck. The driver was driving like a hooligan so I took out my camera to take a photo of the number plate. This guy must have seen me and immediately stopped his horse-play.

no one would dare steal garbage karma lady! she is now the protector of your porch! (but just in case, you might want to put a jingle bell around her as well.)

Kim,

Well I found a copy of the magazine and when I went to check out, the clerk at Borders made a comment about the magazine, wondering if it was a good magazine. Which of course I told her yes and that my old best friend from elementary to high school was published in that edition. Then I went on and showed my husband and daughter who all thought it was wonderful.

Congrats once again.

Love your Garbage Karma Lady. Hope she keeps those good vibes going.
