Is anybody blogging anymore?
Is it old-hat? Over? Done? Not cool anymore?
Is everybody tweeting? If so, bye-bye. Not going there.
I used to check my blog roll every day and it would take forever to read and comment. Now, just a few minutes. I don't read them all and comment on all I read, but still. It seems a bit quiet out there.
It seems dead here. Or almost. Dying, I should say.
Maybe everyone is Flickr-ing or Tumblr-ing or some other ing that I just don't get.
I will continue to blog. I like it even though I feel like I'm just talking in an empty warehouse in a dying part of town. Is this the same as riding around in a horse and buggy and refusing to drive an automobile? Am I just too old-school?
Alright. Done whining. I'll be back later with some art.

lol I wish I had that problem!!!
I can't keep up with my blogs (perhaps I'm subscribed to too many?) ;)
In any case, there are lots of us still blogging and I'm looking forward to seeing what you're up to soon.
I'll never stop blogging no matter what.
You always make me laugh! Yes, I agree, it's been VERY quiet, but I attribute that to my area of the country just getting back to normal after almost 2 weeks of Hurricane Irene recovery. Feels like our inner clocks are all off-kilter or something? Hang in there -- we're still out there (and I don't FB or Twit much either) :-)))
I still read blogs!!So many of them that somedays it takes a good chunk of time to go through them. But I know what your saying. I find that with the links to facebook that it is easier for people to leave a quick comment. I like that. As for twitter...eh - not going there either!!
i'm still here im just toxic and am trying to not expose anyone
Hey Kim, I'm here but working hard so perhaps not blogging as much. Trying to get as much work done before it gets too hot.
Still blogging! No plans to tweet. Just busy with fall chores as we are having a glorious fall here in the high mountains and we all know it's not long until SNOW. So my energy has been elsewhere. I do plan on linking my blog to Facebook as one of my winter chores. Looking forward to seeing your next art piece.
Thanks for your support everyone!! I'll keep blogging along. Perhaps its time to find some new blogs to follow. I am in a rut!!
LOL, I still read blogs, but of course with one good hand, I am not writing. I am just waiting to get the stitches out next week. Maybe then I can post something of interest.
You are a fresh spirit....so full of honesty! I'm blogging, but only manage these days to post once a week, despite my good intentions. Frankly, I have accounts all over the place, but in my heart of hearts, I don't really "get" it and mostly forget to interact on them. Who has the time and in the end, I can't see the value anyway....twitter, facebook, tumblr, pinterest....all of it. I can't even remember to read my blogs these days. Too much!! I keep thinking I'm missing something, but I'd rather be reading a book most times! Keep making art!!! Cheers!
Interesting perspective! I also like blogging, even if I don't have time to comment and visit as much as I'd like. I do feel like I get a much better feel of a person through their blog than through their twitter or facebook or whatever.
Thanks for your comments too :)
xo
I try to blog every day (and do, even if it's only a photo). Don't do facebook or twitter. I thought I was being very technologically forward in figuring out how to do a blog!!
When I read other people's blogs, I like enough text that it means something. why bother if it's only a little sound bite.
I still love blogging and reading them too although I haven't been reading as much. Trying to limit my time on the computer. It tends to suck me in and deplete me sometimes.
I still blog. In fact, I have been on a blogging spree for the past month or so...I have phases, I guess, like with all the other things I do and am interested in. (Is this week (or month) collaging? painting? mosaics? jewelry? etc.)
I have so many to read though that when I do it a few times a week I just get to a few blogs. There's no getting caught up, but that's ok.
