The First Gold Leaves

Streets of Gold, 12 x 12" collage on board, ©2012 Kim Hambric

Yesterday, I noticed the first gold leaves dotting the sidewalks and streets.  Soon the trees on my street will be gold.  My favorite fall sight is a golden tree against a brilliant blue sky.  Hopefully the central Pennsylvania autumn weather will permit such a sight.

Here comes my favorite season!!

This piece is available in my Etsy shop.

Yes, a very favorite time of year, I agree! I think the cooler weather sparks more creativity; one can think more clearly!

Glad to see that you are posting again. I agree fall is a wonderful time of the year. When I lived in NC, we hardly had a fall, it went from humid and hot to a short fall to a short winter to a short spring to hot and humid. I find I enjoy living out here in Illinois where the seasons are what I think they should be. Only thing, wish we had a bit more snow!

Love your pieces. Including the one that you posted before this post.
