Taking a Break

Clara Clinebell Hogan

Yes, I've been gone from the blog for a while.  I'll be back soon.  My mother died recently, and I haven't been able to get down any words lately.

I'm wishing all of my readers the best of everything in 2011!

She's never gone as long as you remember her. Don't stay away too long, he said selfishly.

Kim: Mom's passing is a profound change in life. I am very sorry for your loss.

15 years later I am still amazed I can't call my Mom. But I still "talk" with her...and remember so much.

Please be very kind and gentle with yourself.

my dearest kim, i'm so so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. Even though my father died this year you'd think I'd have all the right words to pass along to you...but i still don't. Except to express my sympathies for your loss. Losing a parent is...discombobulating. Sending you a big hug from Chicago.
Take care and if you need someone to be a sounding board, you know where to find me.

Take care,
bridgette
