I am really tired of laminating my child with this everyday. At least every other day, we discover that I missed a spot. I do miss winter and sweaters every now and then.
A painting-a-day blogger left a comment yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at Lisa Daria's artwork.
I received this email this morning:
Hi Kim,Bite me Ms. Owen. Stop leaving your droppings in my email. I had the pleasure of seeing the subject of the email and briefly thought I had sold something or was being invited to participate in a show. We will not be discussing this on my blog.
We would love to share with you an article that we just posted on our own blog! “Top 10 TV Shows about Cleaning and Organizing your Home” (http://www.changeofaddress.org/blog/2010/top-10-tv-shows-about-cleaning-and-organizing-your-home/) would be an interesting story for your readers to check out and discuss on your blog, so we hope you will consider sharing it!
Thanks so much for your time, and have a wonderful day!
Sheryl Owen
I have not completed a piece in several days. It is time for me to go into the studio to rectify that situation.
Happy Monday!

hi kim! thanks for sharing lisa's work with us.....how fabulous!! we've been going through sunscreen by the buckets, here, too.....i think i should just go ahead and buy stock in the company....! enjoy your studio time! :))
I've been following your blog for awhile - I love your writing style. Think of me as an invisible follower rather that a lurker. Actually, I tried to leave a comment some time back and it wouldn't take.
Anyway.... enjoy your posts and thanks for the intro to Lisa Daria and her beautiful small paintings. Admire your work as well. I'm also an artist working with fabric - in other words I make quilts too.
I've been using the SPF 100 from aveeno and it works but I pretty much feel like I'm painting myself with kilz.
Staying inside and waiting for autumn is a much better option.
haha! love the sarcasm.
You are too funny, Kim! Totally sympathize re: sunblock and I agree, "football weather" (i.e. sweaters and wooly socks) sounds so good right now!
