Published!

The new Sew Somerset magazine arrived in the mail yesterday, and, finally, there I am in print. Yep, I'm in the back. Pretty much as close to the end as you can get without being an ad.

Sort of a cross between the happy birdy pieces and the dark brown and black pieces.

I felt a little funny just packing up these pieces and letting them go. Hopefully, they will be returned to me shortly and I'll post them here and on Etsy.

You know some of us make our first trip through a magazine by flipping from back to front. So you would be FIRST in my copy!

Congratulations!!!!!!! This is awesome that you are published.

Who cares if it is in the back. I am going to have to run out to Barnes and Noble and pick up a copy!!!

You know what you are an inspiration for me!!!!!!

Congratulations Kim! Well deserved, I love all your house pieces (looking across the room at one right now, so glad I bought it!). I'll have to scout out a copy of the magazine. I'm so happy for you.

Congratulations, Kim! Somerset does a marvelous publishing job -- and don't worry about the "end" -- I sometimes start a magazine at the end and work forward only because the beginning can be like "bam!" :-)

Kim Congratulations. It doesn't matter when in the magazine it is. If all Somerset readers are like me they don't miss a page. I've been reading your blog for quite some time. We need more people to care about the environment the way you so. Our country spends too much time moving further and further away from cities and towns whatever their size and continue to build bigger and bigger abodes. We need to start building in the abandoned areas of our big cities. I used to live in State College more than 30 years ago when I was as Penn State. Although I love when I am now -- Detroit MI, I do sometimes miss it.

Congrats and how exciting. I do agree that I read each and every page so does not matter where. I am going to pick this one up! I love seeing them together..

Well, belated congratulations...I was out of town last week and missed your great news. So proud of you. Like Vicki, I always flip pages front to back....now I know why - the best is always last! I hope you are still floating on your cloud.
