...I don't usually comment on older posts but...
Sorry to hear about your mom. Mine is 91 and in a very nice nursing home where they look after her well. I hope you did have a great Thanksgiving. Being Canadian, this is the first time we didn't have a turkey dinner. No one was here. They were all with friends so we bought KFC for my mom. However, my daughter's friend from Portland, Oregon was visiting last week and my daughter's boyfriend is American too. We were going to have the BIG meal on Thurs. but my son said that if we had it on Sat. we could take my mom out. So, that's what we did. There were 10 for sit down dinner (random others were invited.) Great time was had by all.Doloreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00013261733996949731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8510577370628118176.post-60667513854514411532010-11-25T07:38:09.767-05:002010-11-25T07:38:09.767-05:00Sorry to hear that things are a mess right now, Ki...Sorry to hear that things are a mess right now, Kim. Sometimes it feels like one thing right after another piles on us and we are so overwhelmed that we can't see an end to it- but in time, it does settle. Not sure why she is in the hospital, but I think if you and your sister (if Karen is there) left the kids with the hubby and create a memory with her there.

And it is o.k. if you not in the mood to blog.
