All my fib...I can't do without squares, either. All my fiber art pieces start out on gridded paper. Just a blank page draws a blank in my brain as well. There's something about those nice neat blue squares on my drafting paper that frees me up to draw. Even quilters do squares....there's even a square in a square ruler!
